Nerds

I don't know about you guys, but I'm a self admitted nerd. Plus, this picture is awesome. :D

In addition, I am a major Harry Potter nerd. I think we should learn this song and perform it in the hallway or something, ok? YAY!

Disney World

Call me crazy but I'm pretty excited about this blog! Maybe it's just because I'm a nerd...
"…because nerds like us are allowed to be unironically enthusiastic about stuff… Nerds are allowed to love stuff, like jump-up-and-down-in-the-chair-can’t-control-yourself love it. Hank, when people call people nerds, mostly what they’re saying is ‘you like stuff.’ Which is just not a good insult at all. Like, ‘you are too enthusiastic about the miracle of human consciousness’."

If you don't know who John Green is, now's a good time to find out! DFTBA!

IT'S WINTER BREAK! No school and no homework! Wait... That's a lie. We have homework. Quite a bit if you ask me. Luckily, persuasive papers don't take long to write so it's just math and history I should be worried about.

Friday, a couple of hours after early dismissal, the family jumped in the car and headed to Orlando to visit Disney. We spent the night somewhere along the way and finally reached our destination on Day 2 of the trip. Our first day at Disney was spent at Hollywood Studios which was really cool. If you ever go, the Toy Story Mania ride cannot be missed! Day 3 was spent in the hotel room most of the day while my parents went to a meeting. In the afternoon, though, we went outlet shopping...and guess what? I got sparkly shoe laces for my converse! Wooo!

Sort of hard to see.. But they're sparkly!

Day 4 was Magic Kingdom day. Sadly, the little brothers both got sick (probably caught what I had) and we had to leave the park after lunch. Later that night, we went back to visit the Tiki Room (under new management :P) and the Monsters Inc. Laugh Something-or-another (I don't remember the name.... But it was really funny!). The next 2 days were supposed to be spent at Universal Studios with our final day at Animal Kingdom but Hamza and Bilal were only getting more and more sick. We ended up heading home with hopes of going to Universal (and Wizarding World!) during spring break.

The sick little guys :(

Family picture with Darth Vader and a Clone Trooper

Since Christmas is only days away, everything at Disney is decorated for the holidays. At night, the castle in Magic Kingdom, as well as the other buildings are covered in lights. I even filmed a snippet of a light show for you guys! :D

Dancing lights!

I hope you guys are having a great break!

Winter vacation

Oh wow! Winter vacation begins. My friends and I finished our exams, and then we were out and free from school for a while.
